Girls soccer: CHS defeats Harvey to move into first

The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s girls soccer team returned to the pitch Wednesday with a 1-0 victory in a league game in Katonah, NY against the Harvey School.

Both teams were undefeated in league play going into the game.

CHS found the net with six minutes to go as Bella Christian found Lindsey Augustin for the only goal of the game.

Soph Luft remained strong in net picking up four saves on the day.

CHS is now in first place in the league with a 3-0-2 record. The girls are 9-3-3 overall. They will host Forman on Friday afternoon for Senior Day.
