The Christian Heritage School girls varsity soccer team won its fourth straight HVAL championship with a 2-0 victory over Watkinson at Indian Ledge on Saturday.

CHS pressed early and controlled the match throughout the first half. Watkinson nearly scored on a corner kick in the 18th minute, but CHS was able to clear it off the line.

In the 30th minute, Ranita Muriel was able to find Mia Angelini on a through ball. Angelini was able to find space at the near post to put CHS up 1-0.

After the half, Watkinson controlled much of the play and threatened constantly.

CHS found a few counter opportunities, but were unable to find another goal until late in the match when Bella Christian hit a great shot from 20 yards out to put CHS up 2-0.
