The St. Joseph High girls lacrosse team continued to wreck havoc with the Class S bracket of the state tournament on Thursday.
Coach Leeland Gray’s Cadets, an unlikely semifinalist playing out of the 15th seed, made it happen with a 20-7 road victory over No. 10 Housatonic.
The Cadets third consecutive victory places them opposite No. 3 Somers (15-3) in the semifinals on Tuesday, June 7, at a site and time to be determined.
St. Joseph shared the scoring responsibility once again against Housatonic.
Susie Vazzano tallied four goals to lead the way.
Abbey Ivanovich had three goals and two assists.
Robyn Pelletier was credited with two goals and two assists.
Amanda Lopez, Tricia Diax and Annie McNeil each found the back of the net twice.
Kate Condron, Halle Grabowski, Maddie Dunkel, Bridget Walsh and Psaras scored one goal apiece.
Vazzano, Lindsay Lucifora and Dunkel added assists.
Emily Buccigross had three saves and Andrzejewski one.
