Fairfield Ludlowe’s Sarah Leatherwood and Trumbull High’s Kate Romanchick run side by side in Monday’s meet.
The Trumbull High girls cross country team competed in its final regular meet of the season, taking on Darien Stamford and host Fairfield Ludlowe on the Falcons’ 2.9 course on Monday.
Trumbull took a win over Darien and Stamford, ending their season at 11-4.
THS’ Kate Romanchick placed first overall with a time of 19:12, followed by Ludlowe's Sarah Leatherwood in 19:25.
Sophia Hopwood ran a 21:18, Jill Ryan a 21:57, Margaret LoSchiavo a 22:04 and Leanne Iassogna a 23:10 for the Eagles.
