The Trumbull High girls basketball team improved to 2-0 overall, and 1-0 in the FCIAC, with a 54-47 FCIAC road win at Norwalk High on Thursday.
The rivals exchanged scoring streaks with Trumbull winning the first period (14-8) and Norwalk taking the second (17-11).
The Eagles took a 38-35 lead into the last quarter.
Taylor Brown led the winners with 21 points, including a 7-for-8 effort from the foul line.
Claudia Tucci scored 14 points, Brady Lynch nine and Julie Keckler five.
Brown and Keckler had three-point baskets.
Norwalk was led in scoring by Ashley Wilson (13 points) and Asja Vega (11 points).
