Trumbull High remained unbeaten with a 55-28 win over Masuk High in the Bethel Holiday Tournament on Thursday.
Coach Steve Tobitsch’s Eagles (5-0, 4-0 FCIAC) will play Bethel for the title on Saturday at 6. The host Wildcats defeated Amity High, 45-27, in its first round game.
Trumbull’s defense limited the Panthers to single-digit scoring in each of the first two quarters and took a 35-7 lead into the half.
Allie Palmieri scored 15 points, Cassie Barbato 12 and Meghan Lesko nine.
Masuk was led by Bri Craig with 11 points.
