The St. Joseph High girls basketball team defeated Trinity Catholic 64-30 on Wednesday night, and in the process Cadet head coach Chris Lindwall won the 200th game of his 13-year career (Joel Barlow and St. Joseph).

Prior to the game, the 2014-15 team that won the Class M state title was honored. Then the current squad went out and took a 23-2 lead over the visitors from Stamford. St. Joseph, now 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the FCIAC, extended its lead to 42-9 at the half.

Chelsea DosSantos scored 12 points, Jackie Jozefick 11, Shannon Grabowski and Ashley Lynch seven, Megan Robertson six and Isabella Moffatt five.

Jozefick had eight rebounds, five blocks and 10 assists.

Melissa Bike had eight rebounds and four assists.

Alana Gianokos scored 16 points for the Crusaders.
