The winter sports season is underway in Trumbull, as Trumbull High School and St. Joseph High School are battling the best competition around.
Here is a list of varsity events going on for Friday. As always, check with your athletic department for any changes to dates and times (home games are in bold):

Wrestling: vs. FCIAC championship weigh-in and round of 16 (at NCHS), 3 p.m.
Boys Basketball: at Trinity Catholic High School, 7 p.m.
Girls Basketball: vs. Trinity Catholic High School, 7 p.m.
Girls Ice Hockey: vs. Darien High School (at Shelton Rinks), 4 p.m.
St. Joseph High School
Girls Basketball: at Fairfield Warde High School, 7 p.m.
Boys Basketball: vs. Fairfield Warde High School, 7 p.m.
