Football: St. Joseph blanks Warde

The St. Joseph High football team shut out Fairfield Warde, 23-0, on Satuday afternoon in an FCIAC matchup at the Dalling Sports Complex.

Mufasha Abdul-Basir ran for touchdowns of 4 and 83 yards to power the Cadets, who improved to 7-2.

Corey Babineau threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Pat Battista and Mark Mzorek added a 34-yard field goal for St. Joseph.

Lar Pedersen intercepted two passes from Warde quarterback Brandon Bisack. The Mustangs fell to 4-5 overall.
