The St. Joseph football team shutout Danbury, 21-0, on Friday.

Coach Joe Della Vecchia’s Cadets took the lead on Jaden Shirden’s 2-yard run in the second quarter.

Cory Babineau threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Jared Mallozzi, and Luke Kirby’s second of three conversion kicks, made it 14-0 at the half.

Mallozzi, who had 12 catches for 125 yards, completed the scoring with a 32-yard rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Babineau completed 16 of 21 passes for 190 yards, including his 10th touchdown pass to Mallozzi.

Brian Harner led the Cadet defense with 10 tackles. He had three quarterback sacks and recovered two fumbles.

St. Joseph improved to 3-1, while Danbury dipped to 0-4.
