Trumbull High defeated Bridgeport Central, 13-1, in FCIAC baseball on Friday.
Carlos Garrido had three hits and Alex Ruoso had two hits, including a three-run triple.
Coach Phil Pacelli’s Eagles scored seven runs in the fourth inning and improved to 10-7 overall and 9-6 in the FCIAC.
Antonio Andino had two hits for Bridgeport Central. Erickson Rodriguez and Jameil Langston each doubled.
Brian Hnatuk improved to 3-2 with the win. He combined on a six-hitter with Dan Keckler, who pitching the sixth, and Connor Smith, who came on in the seventh.
