The Trumbull High girls basketball team rallied back to force overtime on Friday, but host Wilton High controlled the extra session en route to a 62-50 FCIAC win.
Amanda Pfohl made five 3-pointers for coach Steve Tobitch’s Eagles and finished with 26 points.
Kalisse Eldridge scored eight points. Kate O’Leary had six assists and Dani McGillicuddy four.
The Eagles (5-3) were hurt by a 5-for-14 performance from the foul line. The Warriors (7-1) were 18-for-29 from the stripe.
Erin Cunningham scored 15 points, Erica Meyer 14, Haley English 12 and MaKenna Pearsall 12 for Wilton, which carried a 38-33 lead into the fourth period.
