The Trumbull High girls lacrosse team defeated Masuk High of Monroe, 11-5, on Saturday.

Trumbull trailed 4-2 late in the first half before rallying to break a six-game losing streak.

The Eagles scored eight straight goals to break the game wide open.

Senior Natalie Crowe scored five goals, while fellow senior Carly Goroff added three goals and an assist.

Sophomore Emily Uus had a huge all-around game with a goal, an assist, six ground balls, and three draw controls.

Junior Melissa Lindine added three assists.

Senior goalie Arianna Matz had a fantastic game. She stopped the first six shots she faced and finished the game with 15 saves.

Trumbull travels to Brien McMahon for a 7 p.m. start on today and returns home on Tuesday to face St. Joseph at 6.
