The Trumbull High girls lacrosse team raced out to a 9-1 halftime lead and defeated Brien McMahon, 14-5, to win its second straight and improve to 4-7-1 on Monday.

Trumbull will play host to St. Joseph tonght at 6 p.m. at McDougall Stadium.

Natalie Crowe led all scorers with five goals and two assists for coach Mike Spinner’s squad.

Carly Goroff added three goals and an assist.

Avery Collins chipped in two goals, an assist, and five draw controls.

Emily Uus had a monster game with 11 ground balls and three draw controls.

Arianna Matz made 14 saves.
