The Trumbull High baseball team shut out host Brien McMahon, 10-0, in Norwalk on Monday.
Coach Phil Pcelli’s Eagles are now 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the FCIAC. McMahon is 3-7, 2-6.
Joe Nemchek pitched into the fifth inning before Connor Smith came on to close out the win.
Brian Hnatuk had three hits including a home run and four RBIs for Trumbull, which had three-run rallies in each of the second, fifth and sixth innings.
Alex Rauso had two hits, including a home run.
Marcus Nieves, Travis Jenkins, Chris O’Brien and Matt Fasoli each had two hits apiece.
Hunter Dumas had a triple to lead McMahon’s seven-hit attack.
