DoCarmo runs point, St. Joseph triumphs

Ana DoCarmo had 15 points, six assists and four steals to lead coach Chris Lindwall’s St. Joseph High girls basketball team to a 65-31 victory over visiting Brien McMahon from Norwalk on Friday.

The Cadets (11-3, 9-3 FCIAC) led 14-4 after one, 34-14 at the half and 47-22 after three quarters.

Caitlin Sharnick had 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists and blocked six shots.

Bridget Sharnick had nine points and seven rebounds. Shannon O’Meara and Maite Gritsko had six points each.

Tatian Arias led McMahon with 15 points.
