Coach Chris Lindwall’s St. Joseph High girls basketball team evened its mark at 9-9 in the FCIAC and improved to 9-7 overall with a 56-19 victory over Bassick High in Bridgeport on Feb. 7. Tara Whiting had a trio of 3-pointers, and Tess Lockwood and Julie Farmer also scored from long range.

Katie Gardella led St. Joseph with 10 points, followed by Jackie Jozefick (nine), Whiting (nine), Nicole Sakakini (eight), Farmer (six) and Lockwood (five).
