The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s boys cross country team came out ahead of two of three teams at the Forman School on Wednesday in spite of having a number of their top runners out with injuries.

Senior, Connor Hartman picked up the victory and four freshmen runners followed him, finishing within the top 11 in the meet: Darwin Kim, Zach Zysk, Will Rojas and Oliver Zeng.

The girls race featured a narrow CHS victory over all three teams. The top five CHS girls to finish were Claire Parrish, Lydia Kellogg, Abby Slater, Laura Bruening and Emily Ferreria.
