The Christian Heritage boys cross country team claimed its first ever HVAL championship at the Forman school on Saturday afternoon.
It was a close meet, with the top three schools finishing within seven points of one another.
The top five for Christian Heritage were Mitchell Modarelli (3rd), Matthew Bruening (7th), Benton Parrish (12th), Zach Zysk (14th) and Darwin Kim (18th).
The girls team finished the meet in fifth place, and ran with resolve after a season during which they faced a lot of health issues.
Claire Parrish led the team with a ninth-place finish.
CHS's last race will be in Bath, Maine next Saturday when it competes in the Division IV NEPSAC meet.
