With 6:20 remaining in the first half, the St. Joseph Cadets lead the Cromwell Panthers, 17-8, in the CIAC Class M girls basketball final ay Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Cadets trailed 6-5 late in the first quarter, but closed on a 5-0 run to gain the advantage. Bridget Sharnick nailed a three-pointer for the final points of the first.
