Christian Heritage wins pair in girls tennis

The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s girls varsity tennis team remained undefeated with a 7-0 record after defeating Watkinson both Saturday at home, 4-3, and Monday in Hartford, 5-2.

Bella Christian only gave up one game in two days, winning her singles match 10-1 on Saturday and then 10-0 Monday.
Valeria Sarmiento played terrific and won her singles matches Saturday 10-7 and Monday 10-5.

Cathy Sanner and Christian gave another stellar performance in No. 1 doubles, winning 8-4 Saturday and  8-2 Monday.

Sarmiento and Hannah Smith went on to win their doubles match Monday, 8-5.

Anais Anderson and Emma Greer won their doubles match on Saturday, 8-6.

On Monday, Anderson and Kirstyn Lopiano came back from a 0-5 deficit to end up in an 8-8 tiebreak, before winning 9-7.
