Cadets win fifth straight game

The St. Joseph baseball team won its fifth straight game, defeating Danbury, 4-2, on Monday.

Coach Jim Chaves’ Cadets are 5-3 overall and 5-2 in the FCIAC. Danbury is 6-3, 4-3.

Mark Hirschbeck and Matt Laveneziana each had two hits and an RBI.

Sean Hurley and Mike Rotondo had RBI hits.

Jake Amoros went the distance to improve to 2-1, allowing two runs in the fourth inning.
