The St. Joseph boys lacrosse team is back in the Class S state championship game for the second consecutive year, and the fifth time in six seasons, as the eighth-seeded Cadets defeated fifth-seeded Northwest Catholic, 12-6, in Cheshire on Wednesday.

Josiah Wilson led St. Joseph with four goals and five assists. Ryan Corcoran scored four goals.

Coach Joe Izzo’s Cadets (14-5) will play seventh-seeded Brookfield High (14-5) for the title on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brien McMahon High in Norwalk.
