St. Joseph came back to defeat Fairfield Warde, 63-59, in an FCIAC boys basketball game at the Vito Montelli Court in Trumbull on Friday.
Coach Chris Watts’ Cadets trailed the Mustangs, 39-36, when the fourth quarter got under way.
Mike Sulik scored 25 points, was 5-for-6 from the foul line, and grabbed 11 rebounds, as the Cadets improved to 3-13.
Camren Menefee scored 13 points, Joe Mangiamele had 11 points and five steals, and Omar Telfer had eight points, three steals and three assists.
Chris Smaldone led Warde, now 4-13, with 16 points. J.J. Conway had 15 points, and like Smaldone, buried a trio of 3-pointers.
Marcel Parsons scored 11 points, Malcom Brune eight and Jackson Longley seven.
