The St. Joseph boys cross country team wrapped up its regular-season FCIAC schedule with a win over Trinity Catholic on Tuesday at Waveny Park in New Canaan.

Sophomore James Mas led the Cadets, placing sixth overall in 17 minutes. St. Joseph (8-10) lost to conference leaders Danbury, Ridgefield and New Canaan.

St. Joseph had solid performances from senior Jared Quigley (43rd, 18:57), junior Evan Aldo (44th, 18:58) and junior Kyle O’Brien (45th, 19:18).

Junior Will Gallagher (51st, 19:43), senior Aidan Quigley (52nd, 19:45) and senior Joe Capio (53rd, 19:52) each broke the 20-minute mark for the Cadets.

Also finishing for St. Joseph were: senior Chris Haack (59th, 20:07), senior Jon Lemanski (62nd, 20:49), freshman Matt Conway (64th, 21:38), senior Anthony Salzillo (71st, 22:16), freshman Nicholas Russo (76th, 22:31), sophomore Nick Maltese (77th, 23:38), freshman Dylan DeMoura (80th, 24:35) and sophomore Parker Diamond (83rd, 27:46).

St. Joseph will compete in the conference championship meet, Thursday, Oct. 17, at Waveny Park in New Canaan.
