Cadets' Nogueria to coach at All-American game

Six of the nation’s elite girl’s high school soccer coaches, including Jack Nogueira, St Joseph High School’s girls varsity soccer coach, will participate in the 3rd annual High School All-American Game on Dec. 5 at Cardinal Gibbons High, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Nogueira has been assigned to coach the East Squad at this national-level game. Coaches selected represent their high school teams during the fall season and are coaches that have won many regional and national awards.

The game is being held the same weekend and in the same location as the women’s NCAA Division I College Cup. The participants will arrive on Thursday, Dec. 3, and will attend the semi-final games as well as the championship game on Dec. 6. The coaches were chosen based on their career coaching achievements and have combined for over 1500 career wins and 30 state titles.

The event is being sponsored in part by, Adidas, Amplified Soccer, G-Form, New Jersey Girls Soccer Coaches Association,, Summit Hospitality, TopDrawer Soccer, and Uni-Sport.

In addition, senior Jenna Bike is on the short list of players being considered to play in the All-American game for coach Nogueira. The Cadets have four Division I senior commitments: Leah Lewis, Colgate; Marissa Grasso, Bryant; Bike, Boston College; and Lindsey Savko, Fairfield University.
