Top seeded St. Luke’s defeated No. 4 Christian Heritage School, 6-3, in the league softball semifinals on Friday.
Christian Heritage scored in the first inning powered by hits from Michelle Bowerman and Tiffany Diao.
By the bottom of the fourth, CHS was still leading, 3-2.
St. Luke’s answered in the top of the fifth scoring three runs and CHS was unable to answer.
Diao struck out five. Brynn Vasil had a double.
Excellent plays were made in the field by Bowerman, Sarah Meade, Michaela Korman, Soph Luft and Vasil.
