Boys volleyball: Darien defeats Trumbull in four sets

Trumbull High was defeated by Staples of Westport, 25-22, 25-19, 25-14, 25-20, in an FCIAC boys volleyball match on Wednesday.

Leading the Wreckers were Jared Himmel (10 kills, 1 block and 4 digs), Daniel Brill (11 kills, 3 blocks, and 9 digs) and Keiran Simunovic (7 kills and 4 blocks).

Pacing Trumbull were Casey Coughlin (11 kills, 4 blocks, and 4 digs), Justyn Schueler (9 kills, 2 blocks and 4 aces) and Jake Yellen (13 digs).
