Boys lacrosse: St. Joseph defeats Norwalk High, 9-7

Jared Newall scored five goals and had two assists to lead the St. Joseph boys lacrosse team to a 9-7 victory over Norwalk High on Tuesday.

Mike Sudora had two goals. Nick Celentano and Ryan Wilson had one goal each for coach Brendan Talbot’s Cadets.

St. Joseph led 3-2 after one, trailed 6-3 at the half and tied the match at 7-7 going into the final period.

Cillian Donahue had 10 saves, four in the fourth quarter.

Newall (2), Chris Klablonski, Celentano, Wilson and Kevin Diaz had assists.
