
The St. Joseph High boys lacrosse team dropped a 21-6 FCIAC decision to Ridgefield High at the Dalling Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers jumped out to a 6-0 edge at the end of the first quarter, powered by two goals from Mark Galione. Ridgefield (12-3) then put it away with an 11-goal second-quarter deluge. Galione led the way with five more goals, while Greg Gatto and freshman Noah Gels added three apiece.
For the Cadets (8-7), Jared Mallozzi, Liam Massey, Chris Klabonski and Jared Newall (two goals) found the back of the net.
St. Joseph wraps up the regular season on Tuesday night at Brookfield High (8-7).
