Boys hockey: St. Joseph loses to Greenwich High

St. Joseph lost 10-2 to Greenwich High in a boys hockey game at Dorothy Hamill Ice Rink on Saturday.

Greenwich, ranked sixth in the GameTimeCT/Register Preseason Hockey Poll, scored seven goals in the first period and added three more in the second.

St. Joseph’s Sam Brachi, assisted by Brendan Rosselli, scored 57 seconds into the third period.

Roselli scored a goal at the 6:10 mark.

Connor Santry had three goals and Ryan Columbo had a goal and three assists for Greenwich.

Ben Nash had 24 saves for the Cardinals.

Chris Higgins had 22 saves and Bill Brady eight stops for the Cadets.
