Boys hockey: St. Joseph loses 5-2 decision to West Haven

St. Joseph saw West Haven score a pair on unanswered third-period goals in a 5-2 loss to the Westies at the Rinks at Shelton on Monday night.

The Cadets are 0-2. West Haven improved to 2-1.

St. Joseph’s Brandon Roselli scored between West Haven tallies in the first period.

Thomas Schietinger and Wyatt Chrisman had assists.

It was 3-1 West Haven when Christopher Chartier found the back of the net at the 10:07 mark of the second period.

Charlie Chagnon made the telling pass on the score.

The Westies’ Nico Bruneau scored his second goal, only 16 seconds into the third period.
