St. Joseph trailed by a lot at the half and couldn’t make up the deficit when Wilton High earned a 71-66 decision on Monday.

The Warriors improved to 7-2 and 4-1 in the FCIAC, as they snapped the Cadets’ win streak at five games.

St. Joseph is 6-2, 5-1 in conference.

Paul Fabbri led coach Kevin Wielk’s club with 19 points, with four 3-pointers.

Stephen Paolini and Brendan Kade scored 17 points each.

Paolini added nine rebounds and three steals.

Kade blocked two shots.

Jason James scored eight points and had four assists.

Nick Kronenberg and Ryan Schriber each scored 16 points for Wilton.
