The Christian Heritage boys basketball team got a convincing conference win against top ranked Chase Collegiate, 73-59, on Saturday.

It was a back and forth battle all night, especially between guards Clay Westermann from CHS and Blake Hardy from Chase.

Hardy finished the game with 30 points, hitting five 3-pointers along the way.

Westermann led his team to the win, shooting for a season and career high in both points (46) and 3-pointers made (9).

With all the scoring going on, defense really was the key with the Kingsmen holding the Highlanders to only 23 points in the second half.

The gym was electric for CHS’ first Friday night home game since the Christmas Tournament back on Dec 18.

CHS’ next game is Friday Jan 22, at home again, against HVAL opponent Wooster at 7 p.m.

In the last meeting between the two, Wooster beat Christian Heritage 53-50.
