Boys basketball: Warriors top Cadets, 64-55

The St. Joseph boys basketball team made nine 3-pointers, but only made two trips to the foul line, when the Cadets lost to FCIAC foe Wilton High, 64-55, on Friday.

The visiting Cadets are now 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the FCIAC.

Wilton, which led 34-27 at the half and took a 53-39 lead into the final period, improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the FCIAC.

John Williams scored 21 points and James Maloney 20 for the Warriors, who were 7 for 11 from the stripe.

Camren Menefee had 14, Omar Telfer 10 and Jack Moulder nine for St. Joseph.
