
Fast starts in the first and third quarters carried St. Joseph to a 77-66 victory over visiting Norwalk High on Wednesday.
Coach Kevin Wielk’s Cadets, now 2-1, took a 27-17 lead after one period. Leading 38-31 at the half, St. Joe’s won the third stanza 23-10.
Dan Tobin scored 22 points to lead the Cadets.
Steve Paolini had 16 points and Jared Grindrod 12.
James Jason scored 10 points.
Brendan Kade knocked down two 3-pointers and had eight points.
Tyler Dubose scored seven.
Zyaire Sellers scored 18 points to lead Norwalk (0-2).
