Boys basketball: Greenwich knocks off Trumbull High
After defeating Danbury High 62-51 on Friday night, the Trumbull High boys basketball team went on the road to play Greenwich High Tuesday, losing a 69-64 decision to the Cardinals.
Jack Moore scored 27 points and Ben McCullough had 20 for the Eagles.
Kieran Carroll and Conor Harkins each scored 19 points for the victors.
The loss by the Eagles means all FCIAC clubs have at least one defeat.
Trumbull is 6-1 in the West Division, tied with Danbury, who bounce back to defeat Stamford, 57-50.
Stamford High’s record is 5-2. Greenwich is 4-2.
