Danbury High used a third-quarter run to defeat visiting St. Joseph on Thursday.

The lead went back and forth with Danbury up 10-9 after one period and the game tied at 23-all at the half.

The Hatters used an 18-8 edge in the third quarter to improve to 8-2 overall and 7-1 in the FCIAC.

The Cadets are 6-3, 5-2 in the FCIAC.

Paul Fabbri led the locals with 14 points.

Stephen Paolini and Dan Tobin each scored 10 points.

Danbury’s Denali Burton scored 17 points and Javon Hernandez had 14.
