The Christian Heritage boys basketball season started its season on the road at Marvelwood School (Kent) with a 77-32 victory on Wednesday.

After an explosive 13-0 start, the Kingsmen cruised to a solid halftime lead behind Clay Westermann’s 21 first-half points (4-5 on three-pointers).

Senior forwards Peter Ziegler and Queshon Webley controlled the backboards rebounding and defended the paint.

Westermann finished the game with 39 points, Webley 11, and sophomore guard Bryan Vanderhave came off the bench to chip in 9 more.

CHS will visit Oakwood Friends (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) on Wednesday, Dec. 14.
