The Christian Heritage School of Trumbull’s boys basketball team defeated visiting NEPSAC opponent Williams, 54-26, on Dec. 11.

After a quick start where the Kingsmen went up 14-1, things settled down but the locals kept the lead going into the half 33-16.

A balanced scoring attack had seven different players scoring for the Kingsmen in the first half and then seven more getting on the board in the second.

The team only committed 10 turnovers in the game and held Williams to only 10 points in the second half.

Leading the team in scoring was Clay Westermann with a game high 18 points.

Boronski scored nine, Packevicz eight and Tim Vanderhave seven.

The Kingsmen are 2-1 and at home again on Tuesday, Dec 15, against Faith Prep from New Milford.
