The Stratford Recreation Dept. High School Girls Summer Basketball League played its first week schedule on Thursday.
Kolbe Cathedral defeated Shelton, 35-21, Harding High topped Oxford High 34-25, Staples High defeated Ansonia High 42-20 and St. Joseph defeated Greens Farms Academy 38-30. Stratford and Bunnell had byes.
