Trumbull High’s Robert Olah doubled home a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Eagles a 3-2 victory over Fairfield Warde on Friday.

Coach Phil Pacelli’s Eagles improved to 3-2. Warde dipped to 5-1.

The Mustangs scored a run in the fifth inning and threatened in the seventh when they closed the gap to 3-2 before Joe Nemchek came in to get the save.

Andrew Lojko pitched five innings of one-run ball for Trumbull.

Dan Keckler threw a scoreless sixth.

Warde’s John Natoli pitched into the seventh inning for Warde.

Natoli and Zavier Espinel had RBI hits for the Mustangs.

Alex Rauso had an RBI single in the sixth for Trumbull.
