Chris O’Brien pitched the Trumbull High baseball team to a 4-1 victory over host Norwalk High on Friday.
O’Brien (2-1) gave up only three hits and struck out nine batters in six innings of work.
Kris DiCocco had two hits, including a double, for Trumbull, which scored a run in the second and three runs in the fourth.
Alex Rauso had two doubles. Justin Waldek had an RBI single
Norwalk’s Marco Monteiro had an RBI single in the seventh.
Coach Phil Pacelli’s Eagles improved to 7-4, 6-3 in the FCIAC. The Bears are 7-5 and 6-2 in the FCIAC.
