Connor Hurley pitched a four-hit shutout when St. Joseph defeated Wilton High, 1-0 on Monday.

Hurley (2-0) struck out four and made a first-inning run stand up, as coach Jim Chaves Cadets (3-2, 2-2 FCIAC) won for the third straight game.

Neil Velasquez singled and scored a run on Matt McKernan’s RBI double.  

Glenn O’Brien (1-1), who allowed only five hits, was the hard-luck loser for the Warriors (4-3 overall, 1-2 FCIAC).

Drew Connelly had a double.
