Connor Hurley scattered six hits and the St. Joseph baseball team defeated Brien McMahon, 3-1, on Friday.

Tom Montelli drove in a run and Jake DeLeo scored a run in the Cadets’ three-run third-inning rally.

Montelli had a double and DeLeo the Cadets’ two other hits, to make a hard-luck loser of McMahon’s Matt Galyas.

McMahon (8-4, 5-4 FCIAC) scored its run in the top of the fourth.

Wady Almonte had two hits for the Senators.

Hurley (3-0) struck out six and didn’t give up an earned run for St. Joseph, which improved to 6-4, 5-3 FCIAC.
