Trumbull Babe Ruth 15 All-Stars, after defeating Norwalk 2-1 in 11 innings on Saturday, moved to the District Tournament championship game with a 14-4 run-rule six-inning victory over Fairfield at Unity Park on Sunday.
Trumbull will play the winner of the Norwalk-Fairfield elimination game for the title on Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Unity.
Alex Chopskie pitched into the fifth to get the win. Andrew Koch relieved in the sixth.
Steve Ioli had a hit and drove in three runs.
Jake Teixiera and Chaz Stolba had two hits each.
Anthony Cimino had two RBIs.
Chopskie, Ryan Vawter and Luke Lamy each had a hit and drove in a run.
Beau DeMelo had an RBI and Tim Seymour a hit.
