The Trumbull Babe Ruth 14-year-old All-Star team defeated Norwalk, 5-4, in the winner’s bracket final on Sunday.
Trumbull, managed by Zach Philippas, will play Norwalk for the title tonight at 6 at Brien McMahon High.
Norwalk defeated Fairfield on Sunday to earn a rematch.
Trumbull scored two runs in the top of the seventh to overcome a 4-3 deficit.
Brian Hance had two hits and an RBI for Trumbull (2-0).
Eric Harvey had two hits and Dan Finizio had a hit and drove in a run.
Ricky Mariani pitched the first five innings. Joe Defusco pitched the sixth and Hance the seventh.
Hance, Harvey and Mariani had doubles.
Devin DiCocco had a triple.
