Angelucci pins his way to FCIAC championship

Trumbull's Adam Angelucci, ranked No. 2, in the 152-pound class of the FCIAC wrestling championships, pinned No. 3 Ethan Ross of Greenwich in 5:21 Saturday's semifinals.

Angelucci will face Chase Lind of Fairfield Ludlow in the championship later on Saturday. Lind won in a technical fall over John Koletsos of Norwalk, 15-0.

The FCIAC championships, in all weight classes, is going on all day at New Canaan High School.

Seven other Trumbull wrestlers are in semifinal matches today. Updates will be posted on throughout the day.

Notes: Tristan Haviland, No. 1 in the 106-pound class, won his semifinal match... Cross Cannone, No. 1 in the 132-pound class, won his semifinal match... Mike Greco of Trumbull, ranked No. 6 in the 145-pound class, was pinned by Will Mills of Danbury in 1:25.
