UConn men’s hockey is suspending team activities after a member of its program tested positive for COVID-19, the school announced Wednesday night.

The program will be on pause until contact tracing and additional testing is completed and medical professionals deem it safe to resume.

As a result, games against Northeastern on Thursday and Saturday have been postponed. The Huskies’ next scheduled game is Jan. 15 versus New Hampshire at Freitas Ice Forum in Storrs.

UConn is 3-5-1 on the season.
