The Tashua Knolls Senior Men’s Club 2021-2022 Friday League bowling at the Nutmeg Lanes in Fairfield on Jan. 21 has Team 5 (Randy Burnham, Bob Sadowski, Alan Careddu, Dennis Surmaczewicz ) with a first-place lead of 11 points over Team 12 (Mark Paskus, Pepe Cruz, Ray Boratko, Mike Bartolotta).

Mark Ryan bowled the single game scratch of 242 and the handicap single game of 287. Dennis Surmaczewicz bowled the series scratch of 665 and Bob Burke bowled the handicap series of 791. Dan Maniscalco has the high individual average of 209.64. Dennis Surmaczewicz is at 201.98, Rich Schwam at 200.09. Team 5 bowled a new season-high series of 2293.

Tuesday bowling

Team 12 (Joe Flewellyn, Mark Paskus, Terry Guth, and Robert Winston) was victorious by 17 points in the first half and is guaranteed either first or second place for the season. Teams 11, 8, and 2 were in the next three places.

The second half has begun and is a tight race. Team 4 (Gary Robenseifer, John Campbell, Bob Burke, Ray Boratko), Team 6 (Ron Rubato, Bob Wolfe, Tom Frazer, Gerry Cordone), and Team 9 (Paul Schuerlein, Ivo Pozezanac, Mark Ryan, John Verdeschi) are tied for first place. Team 10 (Rick Frank, Bob Vagnini, Jim Menge, Dan Maniscalco) is one point behind.

The individual results have Dan Maniscalco with the high scratch single game of 245 and the three-game series of 659. Mark Ryan had the single game with handicap of 265. Bob Chasse bowled the three-game series with handicap of 730. The high individual match points is led by Dave Farrington with 76. Dan Maniscalco is the high average leader at 202.04, followed by John Verdeschi at 198.77 and Bob Beck at 192.69.
